American Home Screens was founded in May of 2019 on the belief that it shouldn’t be such a pain to get your window/door screens fixed.
At the time, Jay was working with contractors who mainly served residential real estate investors. During this experience, it eventually became obvious that getting screens repaired was a pain for them. As a contractor, they just didn't have the time to do screen repairs.
Eventually, Jay learned how to do screen repairs with the contractors help & offered his newly acquired services to the market. It quickly became obvious that contractors weren't the only ones with screen issues, but a lot of residential home owners had the same problems as well.

- Still a new business trying to find its place in the market/works.
- Pandemic happened - new challenges & opportunities rose from that (more homeowners who work from home wanted their screens done)
- Customers wanted to drop off to us, so I setup a home garage, but still doing on-site screen repairs
- Officially got a shop for screens due to many customers wanting to drop off
- Officially started doing pickup/dropoff instead of completely on-site. Customers keep the benefits of on-site work while we get to do their work more efficiently.
- Started expanding the business online (ecommerce) visit here *insert link*.
